Creating an event is the first step in using interview scheduler. To give you a good starting point here is an overview of the types of events available in interviewstream.
- Fixed Events: Fixed events allow you to manually add calendar availability to your event that your candidates will be able to choose from when scheduling a time to meet. This event type does not take your overall calendar availability or synced calendar into account.
- Auto-Scheduled Events: Auto-scheduled events pull calendar availability from your overall or synced calendar. This event type takes the manual step of adding calendar availability out of the process. Calendar availability will dynamically change with your calendar and candidates will only be able to choose from open time blocks on your calendar.
- Sequentially Scheduled Events: Sequential scheduling allows you to easily schedule multiple internal participants for back-to-back events/interviews using their calendar availability. Similar to an auto-scheduled event, tell interview scheduler the order in which you’d like your interview participants to join in a back-to-back or round-robin interview, and let scheduler select time blocks that work with each participant’s calendar.
